King & Queen Positions « Thread Started on Aug 11, 2008, 8:51am »
In order to have a herd, kings and queens are necessary! So as we start to get off of our feet, we need to have them.
But since not just anyone can be the king or queen of an entire alliance, we are going to hold auditions for them.
Your audition should include:
a description of your stallion/mare. this may not be copied and pasted from any introduction, or your joining form. it must be a completely redone and rewritten example. this will not be part of the roleplay portion of the audition. simply tell us specs of your horse. the reason why your stallion/mare is the best for this position. not just any horse can be head of an entire alliance! you're the one who created your character, it should be a born-to-lead character, not a shy, unlearned, social reject. if your horse does not fit this role, then you should have made a different horse! it should include a roleplay example, using the character that will be made king or queen should you win. the example should be at least 250 words. it should be adequate in detail of surroundings and of description of the horse's thoughts, emotions, and actions. the roleplay example make take place in any of the lands in the final conspiracy.
I'm assuming you've noticed that the title says Queen and King positions, not simply King? This means that a mare may also lead a herd, however, she is probably not so likely to win and she will have restrictions, as follows:
she will not be able to claim any horses. the horses in her herd must only be the horses that come to her on their own accord. she will be susceptible for mutiny and raids on her herd. as the rules exclude mares from many forms of fighting, she may be required to forfeit her position should there be a challenge (challenge may only be from a stallion). the challenge must be judged by an admin. if it is not sufficient, the challenge will be void. if it is, the queen will forfeit. she can regain her position by becoming the king's mate. however, we will be very picky about challenges against the queen!
There you have it! It's certainly quite simple and easy to follow, is it not? So, go ahead and post your entries on this thread! Non-entry posts will be deleted.
Lastly - please state the alliance of your horse if it is not apparent.

About Dear Apocalypse
Less than satisfactory in the eyes of light, he is quickly deemed dark through his wise morals and decisions. Though most of the time his choices have unclear reasoning lined up behind them, it only takes his patience to await for time to play out the outcome he had planned. He was the king of a herd before after his uncle gave up his thrown when age crept to his brittle bones. He ruled there for years, winning respect but never affection from the mares he owned. Never did love find its way to his heart and never was any relationship established. At age six, his dumb nephew challenged his position. He gave it without a fight and simply walked away. Two months later he had returned, caring less about the herd but pleased to see the death of Dingo done by the lead mare. However, his herd all but died out under the immature rule of the colt and he was left with five mares. Sacrifice was sweet, knowing it was the arrogance that took the life-and the
I will finish later. (: g2g.
Silence holds hands in a relationship never broken by a stallion tinted of a blood shade in his bay pelt.
